Pentz Run Youth Services is a residential placement for adolescent certified as a Specialized Setting Pentz Run is a trauma focused environment for both residents and staff.

Adolescents are placed in our facility for a variety of reasons, maybe truancy, maybe behaviors, maybe emotional issues but mostly due to unfortunate and unsafe home circumstances. Our program requires 24 hour supervision of residents. We are in need of motivated and observant individuals who want to be part of a team focused group of people, dedicated to reducing further trauma in the lives of our residents.

Our program is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the residents while ensuring the most homelike setting possible and maintaining professional boundaries. It is a delicate balance and it takes a special kind of person to do this work. Some of the specific duties include; supervision of residents, assisting with various household tasks such as light cleaning, laundry and cooking. Assuring the safety of the residents and the security of the facility. Ability to be flexible with scheduling and work a varied or possibly rotating schedule.

  • Must have valid PA driver's license
  • Must be able to get PA State Police Criminal, PA Child Abuse, and FBI clearances
  • Must be at least 23 years old
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule
  • Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and written
  • Must be highly self motivated
  • Must be willing to work as part of a team

  • Experience is not necessary, however, you must be quick on your feet and have the ability to learn and follow our program which is based state regulations, Specialized Setting Standards and Trauma Informed Environments. Required education: Must have high school diploma--residential staff Must have Bachelors Degree or Associate's Degree with experience --Primary Case Manager

    In Summary: As an Adolescent Residential Program Worker, you will be instrumental in providing compassionate care and support to adolescents in a residential setting. Reporting to the Assistant Director, your core responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents, and fostering a nurturing environment. With a focus on trauma informed care and personal support, you will help empower residents to achieve their personal goals and maintain their dignity.
