Behavior Management...
Pentz Run Youth Services has developed a
behavior management system that teaches the residents that they are
responsible for their actions and provides them the skills to develop
socially acceptable behaviors. Through the use of accountability,
positive reinforcement and individualized behavioral goals, the youth
are guided towards developing positive behavior patterns.
Residents who are required by their referring
agency to perform community service have the opportunity to do so while
residing at our facility.
An alarm system is in operation at Pentz Run
Youth Services to aid in the safety and supervision of the residents.
Staff are trained in the use of passive
physical restraint, meeting state and agency requirements, in the event
that a resident is in danger of harming himself or others.
